STUDENT LOAN PLACEMENT

If you are wanting to apply for a Student Loan Placement on our next intake, please follow the steps below:

Apply

Contact our Enrolments Team to arrange a formal interview

Complete the ADAPT Pre-screening Tool

Collect the supporting documentation as listed below:

1. Recent school results

2. CV or Resume

3. Copy of your passport

4. Copy of your ADAPT Pre-screening Tool results

and

5. Email your enrolment form with your supporting documentation to enrolments@ardmore.co.nz

Interview

Prospective students must bring to the formal interview:
Recent school results, ADAPT Pre-screening Tool results, CV or Resume & Passport

This selection process consists of a short maths test and a formal interview

Confirmation of Enrolment

Once you have been offered a student loan placement, a letter of offer will be sent to you outlining how to confirm your placement on the course and confirmation of course materials

SELF FUNDED PLACEMENT

If you are wanting to apply for a Self Funded Placement on our next intake, please follow the steps below:

Confirmation of Enrolment


As part of confirming your placement on the course, you will be required to pay a deposit to open your account.

Once payment is received, an offer of placement letter will be sent, as well as course materials required to commence the course.

INTERNATIONAL STUDENT PLACEMENT

If you are wanting to apply for an International Student Placement on our next intake, please follow the steps below:

Minimum Criteria

International students will need to be able to meet the following criteria to enrol;

1. Must be at least 18 years old

2. English - Students need to meet IELTS (Academic) score of 6 (no bands less than 5.5) to sit this course

3. Immigration - All international students must hold a Student Visa to study in NZ

4. Medical - Students must obtain a NZCAA Class 1 Medical

5. Logbook of any previous flight training

Complete the application form, review the Checklist and post with supporting documents

Offer of Placement

When all the conditions have met requirements, AFS will issue an Offer of Placement

Accept Offer

Accept the Offer of Placement, apply for Accommodation

Fees

Pay the due fees - first instalment

Confirmation of Placement

AFS will issue a Confirmation of Placement and Instalment Receipt

Student Visa

Apply for a student visa with your Confirmation of Placement

Book Flight

After you receive your Student Visa., book your flight early.

Arrival Details

Inform the Enrolments Team of your arrival date and time

Orientation

After you arrive, you will get a personal International Student Orientation with one of our staff and start your aviation adventure.
